PS19 East Village Community School is a public school located in NYC’s District 1, serving students in 3K through 5th grade. Our core values are kindness, inclusion, social action, self-awareness and joy of learning. PS19 EVCS students learn in an arts-rich, engaging and inclusive environment, with an emphasis on academic as well as social-emotional learning.

PS19 East Village Community School children, families and educators are committed to learning through a balanced academic and social curriculum.  Students are encouraged to explore their world while building upon their unique strengths, interests, and learning styles.  It is our priority to provide an environment where all children and all families are valued, welcomed, cared for and supported.  PS19 East Village Community School students learn the importance of community building, social responsibility, and conflict resolution.  Our goal is for PS19 EVCS graduates to be confident and kind, academically prepared, and ready to contribute towards positive social change in the community and world around them.
